An established regional law firm is seeking an experienced and motivated Trusts Solicitor to join their growing Wills, Trusts & Probate team. This is a unique opportunity to work within a supportive environment that values career development and work-life balance.

Role Overview:
As a Trusts Solicitor, you will handle a diverse caseload, providing expert advice and practical solutions on all aspects of trust law. You will work closely with clients, trustees, and other professionals to ensure the effective management and administration of trusts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advising on the creation, administration, and termination of a variety of trusts, including Discretionary Trusts, Bare Trusts, and Life Interest Trusts.
  • Drafting and reviewing trust-related legal documents, such as Deeds of Trust, Deeds of Appointment, and Deeds of Variation.
  • Assisting with the registration and ongoing compliance of trusts, including liaising with HMRC through the Trust Registration Service.
  • Providing tailored advice on trust taxation and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborating with trustees and beneficiaries to facilitate the smooth operation of trust structures.
  • Managing a caseload independently while contributing to the broader development of the department.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Qualified Solicitor with 2-6 years’ PQE, ideally with experience in trust law.
  • Strong technical knowledge of trust structures and associated tax implications.
  • Ability to draft comprehensive trust documentation with precision and attention to detail.
  • Proactive and organized with the ability to manage a varied caseload effectively.
  • Excellent client-facing and communication skills.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality legal services and building lasting client relationships.
