A respected regional law firm is seeking an experienced Wills, Trusts & Probate Lawyer to join their dedicated Bereavement Team. Role Overview:
As a Wills, Trusts & Probate Lawyer, you will manage a varied caseload, providing high-quality legal advice and guidance across all aspects of estate planning and administration. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with excellent client care skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting and advising on Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs), and general Powers of Attorney.
- Managing probate and estate administration, including taxable estates and those involving inheritance tax.
- Advising on the creation, administration, and taxation of various trust structures, including life interest and discretionary trusts.
- Providing legal advice on intestacy rules and handling estate matters where the deceased did not leave a Will.
- Collaborating with clients and internal teams to deliver comprehensive, client-focused solutions.
What We Are Looking For:
- Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (CILEx) with 2-5 years’ PQE in Wills, Trusts & Probate.
- STEP membership or a willingness to pursue this qualification is advantageous.
- Strong technical expertise in probate, estate administration, and trust management.
- Ability to deliver clear, tailored legal advice on complex matters.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-centric approach.
- A proactive, collaborative attitude with a commitment to maintaining high professional standards.
