PQE: 7+ years (Senior level ideally)
Location: Wimbledon (Office-based preferred with hybrid flexibility)
Reporting To: Managing Partner (initially); future Department Head role

This is a rare opportunity for an entrepreneurial, commercially astute solicitor ready to step into a senior leadership role within a well-established, independently owned law firm with over 200 years of legal excellence.

About the role
Reporting initially to the Managing Partner, you will be entrusted with heading the Dispute Resolution department as the current partner approaches retirement. This pivotal role offers a clear pathway to equity partnership for the right candidate.
You will lead and develop a skilled team comprising a junior solicitor, an experienced paralegal (due to qualify soon), and dedicated administrative support, driving high standards and delivering exceptional client service.
Who we’re looking for
- 7+ years PQE with substantial dispute resolution experience
- Entrepreneurial mindset with commercial awareness
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proven ability to develop and sustain strong client relationships
- Demonstrable client following or evidence of origination
- Strong academic credentials
- Leadership potential with ambition for equity partnership
- Collaborative team player who can also “row their own boat”
- Flexible and adaptable, comfortable with hybrid working
- Office presence preferred to maintain integration and visibility
