The Employment Team
The Employment department is a dynamic, market-leading team with an international focus. Comprising over 20 specialist lawyers, the team partners with a diverse client base to provide strategic, commercially focused employment law advice across contentious, advisory and transactional matters.

The Role
As an Associate or Senior Associate in the Employment team, you will handle a broad mix of contentious and advisory matters, with an estimated split of around 80% advisory/litigation and 20% transactional support. You’ll enjoy a high level of autonomy and client engagement, with access to high-quality, complex work.
Key Areas of Work
Contentious & Advisory
- Senior exits and settlement agreements
- Disciplinary and grievance processes
- Restrictive covenant breaches and team move planning
- Strategic change projects including redundancy and TUPE
- Employment contracts, policies, and incentive schemes
- Business immigration advice
- Gender pay, holiday pay, and employment compliance
Disputes
- Employment Tribunal claims (unfair dismissal, discrimination, whistleblowing)
- High Court litigation (team moves, bonus disputes)
- Internal investigations
- Trade union matters and industrial relations
Cross-Practice Collaboration
- Corporate: Support on deals, exits and IPOs
- Commercial: Input on outsourcing and GDPR issues
- Real Estate: TUPE and related employment implications
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

- Qualification in a common law jurisdiction
